More than a year earlier, the church at Corinth had received instructions to relieve the needy saints in Jerusalem, a responsibility they were eager to fulfill. Yet, for one reason or another, a year passed and they had yet to accomplish the work they had intended to do. 

So, in 2 Corinthians 8-9, Paul writes to these Christians, encouraging them to finish the good work they had begun. What lessons are contained in this section of Scripture for us?
