Appreciating Equality

In giving instructions to the Corinthians regarding their giving, Paul endeavors to make one point very clear -- his goal is not to burden the Corinthians and enrich those in Jerusalem at their expense. Rather, the goal is an equality -- that those who have an abundance provide for those who are experiencing a need (2 Corinthians 8.11-14). 

This principle of equality is one we find throughout Scripture, touching not only finances, but encouragement and physical help, as well. Join us as we think carefully about our responsibilities toward one another in the local church.
